When is the QR code useful to you?
If you have already registered with us, you can use the code as you wish for:

On-site check-in: Scan it quickly and contactlessly at our registration desk.

Prescription & Referral Requests: Share data from home without having to come into the office.

Phone calls: Quick and reliable identification of your patient records when you receive calls.
Important Information About Technology & Support
Since this is a nationwide technology provided by gematik, our practice is merely the recipient of your data. We have no insight into the apps or the technical implementation.
🔴 Please note:
Technical questions or app issues: If you receive error messages or have questions about setup, please contact us directly to your health insurance provider.
No in-office support: Unfortunately, our team cannot assist you with technical issues regarding your smartphone or the app not be of any help.
If the digital option doesn't work for some reason, we'll simply use your physical plastic health card (eGK) as usual.

It's that simple:
1. Open your health insurance app
Open the scan feature in your health insurance app and scan our gematik QR code (using another device, such as a PC browser or a printed copy of the code).
2. Authorization to transmit the eEB
By doing so, you are authorizing the health insurance company to Electronic Replacement Certificate (eEB) to our practice.
3. Data Transmission
If your health insurance provider and Gematik are working properly (which, unfortunately, isn't always the case and is beyond our control!), your data will be imported into our practice system just as it would be when a card is physically scanned.
