For a Stable Partnership

Dear Colleagues,

Due to the upcoming political changes and the resulting painful cuts to the healthcare system—which affect both us and our patients—we unfortunately must focus our resources more strictly. Despite these developments, it is important to us to provide a Appropriate prioritization for our patients covered by statutory health insurance to maintain.

We are therefore now offering this expedited service only exclusively to our closely collaborating primary care practices for cases of genuine medical urgency ... To significantly reduce stressful phone calls and long wait times for both sides, we would like to Switch the referral process to a fax form.

The Next Steps in the Mediation Case

1. Fill out the form completely

Download the document above. Please Please fill it out completely and label it mandatory with a Practice Stamp. The law does not permit the patient to fill it out.

2. Give an honest explanation for the urgency

An honest and clear explanation is crucial for our triage process. Please describe your symptoms and the reason for the urgency briefly, but in a plausible and truthful manner.

3. Sending a fax instead of making a phone call

Please send us the form along with the mandatory payment slip by fax. This saves you and our practice team valuable time on the phone and avoids waiting on hold.

4. Our Feedback

We'll review your case in a timely manner Internal (MFA and doctor's check). Once the request has been processed, we will contact your practice (by phone or via the response form) and, if the request is approved, contact the patient directly to schedule an appointment.

Important Note Regarding the Ruling in This Case

Doctor-to-doctor discussions in sensitive cases

The fax form covers the vast majority of referral cases. In case of doubt—especially in very urgent, sensitive, or complex cases where direct inpatient admission might be more appropriate—we still ask that you arrange a direct phone call between the doctors (head-to-head). Please do not hesitate to call us directly in these specific situations.

Resource Scarcity

Given the upcoming, significant budget cuts and our already high workload Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all the placement requests we receive. The final decision regarding medical prioritization, acceptance, and scheduling therefore rests solely with our practice.
